We had a mat at the foot of our cabin bed – it was over th teak and holly floor and eventually seemed to have damaged it.
Anyway on my job list for over a year has been the task of a revarnish. I have just tested a 2 part polyurethane varnish and if rubbed down with up to 2500 grade paper seems to give a good finish so today is the day when I actually get on with this job.
Cruising is full of many such small jobs. Lesley’s delay in getting out here this year has meant that I have had a chance to tick of many such jobs. I am not a natural at doing jobs – they seem to go wrong a lot of the time but lets hope I manage to complete this one OK.
